Ducklings Private Nursery first opened in 1996 in a classroom Situated at Moor Hall Primary School.
Ducklings Private Nursery is situated in a large self contained unit in the grounds of the school.
We are registered to take 28 children in each session aged 2 to 5 years, who are cared for by qualified staff and are subject to inspection by Ofsted to ensure we maintain national standards for nursery education.
We are registered to accept Nursery Education Funding Grants for children during the term following their third birthday.
Our aims are to help develop your child’s skills and emotions in a safe, caring environment ensuring a happy transition to primary school.
Ducklings Nursery is part of the Sutton Coldfield Early Years Forum. Members of the forum are all Early Years settings who meet and work together to share best practice and ensure that the best possible Early Years education is available throughout the Sutton Coldfield area for parents, carers and most importantly the children.
Ducklings Nursery is also part of the Four Oaks cluster childrens centre. Children’s Centres provide multi-agency services to meet the needs of young children under five years old and their families. They contribute towards ensuring that there is the best start in life for every child, better opportunities for parents, affordable, good quality childcare and a stronger and safer community.
Our setting aims to:
- provide high quality care and education for children below statutory school age
- work in partnership with parents to help children to learn and develop
- add to the life and well-being of the local community; and
- offer children and their parents a service that promotes equality and values diversity.
